I can give Trump more excuses in that he’s a stupid spoiled brat who was never taught anything better. Mitch came from rather humble backgrounds and had polio himself, but now wants to actively harm children who are struggling. 

Agreed. Trump is an idiot who hurts people through his blundering and greed, but Mitch seems to have sat down and carefully planned out how best to erode democracy and build systems of exploitation.

In many ways, Mitch McConnell is worse than Donald Trump.

It definitely will. I think this is his first non-controlled public appearance since becoming President, likely to avoid this exact scenario. This will play 24/7 on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News. Dude is gonna be pissed.

That was a transparent effort specifically calculated to cut the booing short/lessen its intensity.

He looks like a fucking toddler about to cry.  The most fucking pathetic individual to ever hold the office.

The best thing about this is that it will eat away at him way, way, way more than things like “credibly accused of being a Russian asset” or “revealed almost daily, often by his own idiotic admission, to have participated in criminal activity.”
