Having nobody around to tought me about rpg stuff, I may be the only person become a real gamer with “The Temple of the Elemental Evil”. I was really into Fantasy Literature at the time, I had no idea what the game was and bought it by chance... Oh boy dit it blow my mind! I was like “OMG it’s just like in the books!”…

I may be tottally with the generic fantasy setting. If executed masterfully, why would it be bad? Hell, a good old school fantasy setting could shine between all these modern, dark fantasy/science fiction shows.
