“Well, pinching her ass is a form of flattery!”
That’s what it was considered when the girls did it to me in the sixth grade.

Yes, many in many places most taxi drivers lease a car and/or a medallion from the owner of the medallion. Medallion supply is controlled by government. The mathematics of the situation were little better if not worse than Uber as I recall.
“If you don’t support basic employee protections that were won 100 years ago because someone “chose” a job without them, you aren’t any sort of progressive.”
What ordinary (non-government) job in the fascist economic system isn’t exploitative to one degree or another? Contracting in the corporatist system is just a somewhat different mix than being an employee in it.
“But maybe now they’ll get insurance for actually driving people around in their cars”
“The Lie That Makes Uber Possible” is that wear, tear, maintenance, and depreciation are sunk costs that are not changed by uber service.
We’re on the road to overwrought low displacement engines and the extinction of proper low stressed V8s and I6s. Probably the decent sized I4s too. But here’s the thing, the real world fuel economy of these overwrought small engines isn’t particularly good. They simply do well in the tests.
Huh?
By the description it was the lack of a decent restraint system or the strength of the cage. The post crash photo doesn’t show much but it does look like the cage did not completely collapse and it wasn’t a roll over so I am guessing it lacked a proper harness or he wasn’t wearing it or it ripped out of any attachment…
They are swooping in like a Falcon being Mavericks of neighborhood revitalization instead of moving to a Galaxie far far away on the back of a Comet or Meteor.
What’s asinine is people who read something general and then attribute absolutes to it that aren’t even stated.
Ahh another social climber heard from trying to view his parasitical nature as “intelligence” like that of competent people. I really don’t find something that is primarily animal behavior to be intelligence worthy of that equality. Sure it’s more complicated in human institutional life than is in a pack of wolves but…
Thanks. Speaking of assholes, there I have even shorter version:
Modern human society is structured for assholes by assholes.
Ever notice how we are taught from childhood to yield to assholes in every avenue of life? And when we don’t yield to assholes we’re the problem?
Ok. Fine, I’ll repeat since you can’t be bothered to see what has transpired:
1) I didn’t argue if it was on or off. I argued that the system on cars like this is not optimized for all around usage. (the 720S is optimized for the track)
2) It’s variable system that _ALLOWS_ wheelslip in the amount set to.
3) The video…
SN95 (not SN195) refers to the Mustang from 1994 to 2004. Please, just stop. You simply don’t know a thing about Mustangs.
The molded vent piece and the seam between it and the steel of the 1/4 panel is deliberate. It mimics the 1969 design. It looks that way because it is supposed to look that way. With 1990s…
“Fail upwards.”
Taxes on new cars in some (most/all?) european countries are absurd. The cars themselves are quite reasonable but that price can practically double with tax. So what happens is that people end up driving half the car for the same money as in the USA. They spend about the same, maybe a little less as you point out.
So…
You’ve starred my comments before. I estimate this is at least the fourth.
Engineers understand it and there are some good-at-school types that converted to that game. Even occasionally someone with some technical skill. Most of the engineers who don’t play it aren’t unaware of it, they make an aware choice not to play that game because of how disgusting that game is to them.
Are you a troll or simply naive and stupid?
