Parking lights are not really needed for parking since the requirement of reflectors. To save money the reflectors are just made as the lens of the lamps in most cases but some cars still have separate reflectors on occasion. Usually just the side/corner markers.

This is how the English do pony cars. The Mustang like proportions have been evident in a numerous Astons and others since the late 1960s-1970s or so.

“I’d just used pulverized diamonds”

A moon rock ground up on earth is not really moon dust. Moon dust is of course tiny pieces of moon rock but it’s fractured bits of moon rock that haven’t been weathered or ground up in any way. Which unlike something that is ground up on earth it is very jagged and sticks to and gets into everything. I suppose with

A bodge that would last and actually restore some of structure would be to fabricate two sheet metal patch panels. Grind/cut off all the bad/weak rusted areas. Treat what remains to stop/slow further rust. Fabricate patch pieces to bridge the gap and then secure them with rivets, screws, and/or welding. Paint the

IMO what you’ll find is that people this would aim to help will quickly turn those refurbished cars into crap at a least as often as the default rate. Some people will be helped but I think there will be such a large proportion of disheartening work it will be difficult to keep people doing it long term.

These companies have found a way to make auto loans to people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to borrow two bits. It’s high risk so interest rates are higher. Take away the ability to do things like disable the cars and the interest rates would go higher yet reducing the pool of customers. Possibly to the point where

“It’s an absolutely beautiful station, but you don’t need to hire one of the most famous architects in the world to design your stations when there are fundamental problems with the system”

It’s as if people think government run monopolies on transit should be responsive to customer needs or something. That’s not how its supposed to work. They’ll build what they feel like building, operate how they decide to operate, and that’s that.

“ROFL. Yes, because the rich are so concerned with ensuring the proles have a living wage, guaranteed universal healthcare, various other social safety nets and a clean environment to live in. Their main motive is not maximizing their profits and the profits of their shareholders at all. No sir!”

Why does a popular restaurant need such a severe cancellation policy? Here’s the revenue solution: a standby list. People sign up for the standby list. When someone cancels a reservation call the standby people of the appropriate party size. Or even just strangers to fill the table. Is that so hard? If they are that

If the cop is playing by the book he would ignore her and go about meeting his performance objectives. (“performance objectives” is scoring enough points for revenue and economic enforcement such as people buying insurance before his annual review)

Without some probable cause he legally he can’t demand passengers ID themselves, that’s why he didn’t ask.

“You seem to be forgetting that the rich run this country.”

Paper money no matter how backed becomes fiat money with the adoption of central banking. I laid out the progression quite clearly. It happens again and again.

Obviously I am worth it. You keep replying. Over and over again thread after thread after thread.

You aim to denigrate what you don’t understand and what you fear.

Body damage isn’t going to take them out of service immediately. They can still be used a few dents. Even severe dents can be pushed/pulled out in a few minutes to make a car operable. Smashing the glass however will render them parked until repairs are made. For a get-as-many-before-being-caught situation aiming for

Maybe they just want a nice heated garage or enclosed parking structure.

Again, the passage you initially brought up calls for the removal of gold and silver coin in favor of paper money for the people. It is plain English. I do not have backwards. Marx being for or against a gold standard for paper money does not change that. Paper money and central banking have inevitable consequences.

Mazda’s mid year changes can be nightmarish at the parts counter. Usually ok on internet ordering if you know what you have and can match up photos. Also the online places will often give the build date split line.
