Interesting op Ed in the NYT today about the real kids and what happened after. Not to mention the way Boehner and the House GOP want to wreck the lives of kids like them.

Distorting history for dramatic effect is ethically challenged. At the least.

Agreed. But that doesn't make the movie's distortions any less unfortunate. And I'm putting more stock in Donzaleigh Abernathy's comments on the subject at any rate. Among them:
