I ride both a bicycle, and motorcycle (alternately). There’s a real difference in how traffic, and pedestrians react to each.
I ride daily in LA. I’ve been on time for every meeting since I started !
That’d be mid western Canada as well
That concept is really cool, and makes sense. The production version makes sense too. In that decision by committee, in regards to design - usually kills everything. #sad
Started a long distance bike tour, by accidentally turning on to the Pallisades Parkway, after crossing the GW bridge. North, through the park, and I meant to do the 9W. Riding along, I quickly noticed the storm drains were trying to swallow my bike whole. After about a quarter mile, A really cool pro racer pulled…
This could almost be an out take from the movie Quoyanisquatsi (sp).
I was around 16. My girlfriend’s older brother gave me a lift to a job i had, on his bike. It was too far a subway. Going about 45 on a cloverleaf. A bee flew into the space between my sunglasses and eye. It bounced around between the lens and my eyeball,, before finally stinging me. Started spazzing out- he finally…
THANKS!
excellent retorts .But I’m looking at the pictures, and the 1% of body thats left is red. Maybe they didn’t quite have the balls to actually paint it blue and white? just a wrap? they look so much more interesting in other colours. red is kinda the beige of Italy.
the little take away i get from this “interview” (clearing throat sound).
Indeed. Although. for myself. I’ve done a 360 , several times, about the agro on the road. Back in NYC, definitely a war (mainly with cabbies (new to snow, rain, traffic lights...)). After being catapulted across Houston, with my snapped handle bar clean through my fore arm. I tended to take a little more bad comedic…
I don’t mean to side track your conversation. But, I just notice you jalop name - had an ‘ 03 , A4 wagon. made it to 150k (mainly out of my own stubbornness). Those F....N cars! and their bullshit bio-degradable engine parts.... I’m also a cyclist, used to currier in NYC. many a battle scar. The little bubble that…
This vid, brings me joy
Similar to catching a dog pooping on the carpet, and smacking it then and there. If you find the evidence after the fact. No point really. Should’ve gone for that evening walk
I rode bikes through NYC from the late 80's to 2000 ish. A courier for a bit of that. Wow has it changed!! You no doubt have the all seeing eye. Go for a motorcycle- i say. Funny thing I noticed though. You don’t warm up on them. And pot holes that would be instant death on pedals, taint nothin’ on my monster.
kind of a “jus’ sit back an relax”, meets Akira. (if possible).
it’s not sooo bad her in LALA. you just shouldn’t assume anything, and trust no one. i find freeways easier than the streets. people nudging out from stop signs, stopping in the middle of a stupid move will always give me a pucker moment. even worse on a bicycle
