Yea, I don’t ever see this being practical. Like at all. I was taught to always scan the area to the front and the sides of the mower for this reason. Not investing before paying off debt kind of makes sense. Get your foundation right as soon as possible before building the rest of the house. Focus on the things dragging you down makes sense, especially if you have a lot of debt.
I don't take it as a personal insult, but I do take it as a waste of my time. If you want to haggle with me, haggle with me over email, do NOT agree to a certain price then meet me in person and try to haggle me down more. That just pisses me off.
