I promise not to spoil the series. But to answer your question the last episode can only scarcely qualify as a "cliffhanger" - questions are mostly answered as to the fates of the characters, and the final shot contains a "The End" superimposed over the image.

I viewed it as well in its entirety, and I'll echo this sentiment. The show is resplendently shot, Jude Law is fantastic and oddly endearing as the series progresses.
