Weird I always liked that one It amused me that it was almost identical to the 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra spoiler

Because it is directly mounted into the frame of the car. It was meant to withstand 200 miles an hour speeds. At that speed it would have ripped off of the trunk

If by weirdest, we also mean best, THEN YES.

Merkur XR4Ti

The Blazer has always been a mass market SUV designed around technology available at the time. This new one is no different.

Look I hate GM. But they didn’t make a Camaro “E28" because that would have been ridiculous, like an electric minvan called a Mustang.

100% agreed. And as much as enthusiasts love the Supra and its iconography...it doesn’t hold a candle to the Corvette...especially one that looks like a halo car

Ugliest damn design I’ve ever seen.

i mean, it's obviously hyperbole but i swear some people have never driven a truly underpowered car.

$50K for that weirdly lumpy car (“It’s the Karmann Ghia for the 21st century!”) is absolutely nuts. You’d have to be one helluva Toyota bigot to pop that kind of cash for this model 86 King Size.

You know that the mob and the monarchy are two completely opposite things, right?

Is it bad that I’d rather have 18s with thicker tires?

“driving my BRZ in the snow “
“too much power for snow”

Crappy? MyLink is better than a lot that are out there

Agreed. Even tho I’m a Chevy person, I have to give this Ford its due. It’s a tank. Kias of the era of the minivan that is cited are crap. I’m not necessarily claiming that the Ærostar is God’s gift to soccer moms, but I am saying that it is superior to the Kia in almost every way.

What sucks about this van is that someone would think it would be better off crushed in a “Cash-for-Clunkers” federal government program. I wonder how many clean, low cost vans (and cars) like this were lost to that POS debacle?

Yeah but the Aerostar will be easier to keep going. The 1st gen Sedona/Entourage are loaded with already-obsolete parts that are hard to impossible to find. And serviceability sucked. They were designed as a throwaway car, hence the low resale values. The Ford 4.0L and 5-speed auto still have a ton of a aftermarket

I think the 4.0 I6 from AMC is better, but the Ford 4.0 V6 (and the GM 4.3) are both in the conversation near the top as well.

I saw 4.0 v6 and just stopped reading. That is the best damn engine for ever made. Had one in my 1999 ford ranger and it may seem like not a lot of power, it somehow feels fast and sounds amazing
