Let me guess. Will Ferrell’s rocket blew up Zuckerberg’s expensive satellite on launch, then when he was called out for it on Twitter he quit Facebook in a huff. Or maybe that was someone else.

I had to chuckle at the pict up top with the black baseball cap. I’ve been watching a lot of Korean TV lately and the trope of the black baseball cap signifying a spy/agent/investigator pops up so often that its become ridiculous. A black baseball cap in ‘The Americans’ timeframe seems a bit of an anachronism.

I just posted elsewhere that the film combined the worst of both directors to produce something unwatchable.

Maligned with good reason. It combined the worst of both Kubrick and Spielberg. A ponderous, bloodless pretentiousness with a sickly sweet outer coating.

It should be noted that ‘AI’ was stultifyingly tedious to watch. That was an awfully loooooong 2 1/2 hours to sit through

Are they going to be (not) paying corporate taxes to offshore tax havens on this venture too?

This is how I felt about ‘Last Man On Earth’. I couldn’t curiosity-watch it anymore. I couldn’t even hate-watch it anymore. I’m done with it. X-Files too. Sorry, 1993 was a long time ago. You can’t expect me to remain invested in the same fictional characters for a quarter century.

More like the last THREE seasons shouldn’t have happened.

She whispered “We stole this bit from ‘Lost In Translation’.”

Silly question. Do the actors have British accents? They look like they would have British accents.

Don’t forget the made Moriarty a swishy, catty Truman Capote-style gay. Then they kept recycling the old gay panic ‘we’re NOT a couple!’ gag over and over. There was so much wrong with that series.

I feel sorry for PBS. They staked all their hopes on ‘Sherlock’ being their tent-pole British drama. Then the series just turned into dog crap that they got stuck with. That finale of Sherlock was the worst thing I’ve ever seen on TV... like EVER.

The thing that started Gilmore girls on its long sad decline, in my opinion, was when she abruptly went from lower class worker to owner of a multi-million dollar luxury inn with the wave of a magic wand. Lorelai’s quirkiness turned into Leona Helmsley-style bitchiness. They did the same thing to the old series

That photo. What the hell happened to Captain America’s iconic red, white and blue uniform?

‘Dana Loesch’ has a long successful career ahead of her in celebrity porn.

‘Mockingbird’ was from the perspective of a child who didn’t understand that her father was not the pillar of virtue that he appeared to be. “Go Set A Watchman” is now part of official canon for that universe, it cannot be undone. You can no more ignore that than ignore 75 years of built-up canon in superhero stories.

Iron Eagle was Top Gun without the underlying layer of homo-eroticism.

Rutger Hauer, I remember him from “Soldier of Orange” back in 1977. My my, he’s 74 now. I guess we’re all getting old.

If you want a deliberately obtuse novel try Henry James’ 1901 story “The Sacred Fount”. An entirely unreliable narrator whose misplaced powers of observation resemble someone suffering from OCD. You don’t know if its meant to be a satire, a serious drama, or a vampire story. It could be read as a lampoon of those

When I saw the word ‘Lobo’ my first thought was ‘lobotomized viewers’, because that seems the the the main effect a Michael Bay movie has on people.
