I found nothing wrong with the episode. Still, I turned off the TV and walked away before getting to the end. I’m not particularly invested in any of the characters, and in a world where anything can happen eventually you reach the point where you don’t care what does happen.

Translation. Its going to be a space opera with boobies, blood, and ‘prestige cable TV’ simulated blow jobs. Basically ‘Spartacus’ in Space.

Allen is 82 years old. How many movies does Firth imagine he’s turning down?

We’ve known Douglas was a hound-dog forever. Didn’t he claim sex addiction like 20-ish years ago or more? I seem to recall it ended his first marriage. He claimed his bout of throat cancer was from HPV he caught from sleeping around.

Its a comment about a character on a TV show with monsters is it. Even if my post was deadly serious it’s still not all THAT serious. Oh, and Shelly Long in Cheers. Banished from show canon! No Sam/Dianne!

Jason looks surprisingly handsome. Like K-drama lead actor in a romance kind’a handsome.

Rob Morrow bailed on the last season of Northern Exposure, Zach Braff bailed on the last season of Scrubs, Donald Glover bailed on Community, Santino Fontana bailed on Crazy Ex-girlfriend, and most notably Duchovny bailed on X-Files. These characters (and the actors) should be held accountable for their actions.

A recently watched a few episodes of a foreign (Chinese) TV series set in a high school. It was jarring to see age-appropriate actors who had not been blatantly sexualized.

Recently I watched a few episodes of a foreign series (Chinese) set in a high school. It was jarring to see age-appropriate actors in the roles.

I’ve noticed the trend is to make real-world costumes that resemble bad CGI texture maps so when they switch from real world to bad CGI the difference isn’t so jarring.

True Lies was a grossly misogynistic film and not a little racist too. Even for the time, 24 years ago, critics were saying ‘Eeew, parts of this film make my skin crawl’.

The future of digitally de-aged actors relies heavily on there being stars in the future that we want to see de-aged. I suppose we could be stuck forever watching mid-20 year old digital Scarlet Johanssons and Jennifer Lawrences, probably playing whitewashed Japanese characters from manga comics.

His biggest sin was not being clairvoyant.

I’ve found persons under a certain age tend to struggle with classic films made before... lets say 1984. They’re lost watching ‘Citizen Kane’, they think ‘Chinatown’ is a snooze, they’re baffled by Altman’s ‘3 Women’, they certainly can’t sit through ‘Five Easy Pieces’.

The 1970 film based on the book included a half dozen actual B-25 bombers. Plus Alan Arkin in the lead, Art Garfunkel and Bob Newhart in supporting roles. That’s a mighty tough act to follow.

The victim was Azari. He went on a date. Then there date slanders him in the press.

You go on a date with a young guy, you both get drunk, you go up to his apartment. How naive do you have to be to not realize what the end game is? Its like walking into a used car dealership and being shocked to realize someone is  trying to sell you a car.

He went on a date. They went home together. They did what people who go home together after dates do. Ansari does not possess magical mind-reading abilities.

She followed him home.

She followed a man up to his apartment after a date. What are you doing going to a strange man’s apartment in the middle of the night? If she wasn’t consenting she had an odd way of showing it. This isn’t a case of ‘mixed signals’, this is broadcasting exactly the wrong signals. Its especially egregious if alcohol
