Having seen one in black in person several months ago, I can confirm that with the pop-up spoiler, from the rear it looks better than many, many cars. Very good. Front? meh

Came here for this, had to scroll way too far down to find it.
How much do you charge? I hate hate hate packing the truck. Driving it and unpacking it are things I actually enjoy, and even though I kind of secretly like packing the truck, I hate it. Know what I mean?
Ugh, Penske, worst trucks I've used and lowest governed speed/power... can't make it up hills at more than 50mph.
It's not actually that bad when you think of how many trips you'd have to make in a car that gets 30mpg, or a pickup that gets 15! At least that's what I have to remind myself every time I have to rent a box truck for a long-distance journey... And even an unladen Tacoma towing a BMW 2002 only gets like 11mpg, so…
I've had nothing but great luck with U-Haul trucks, with three 1000+ mile trips under my belt. Every location I've used (Tampa, Ypsilanti, Nashville) has had nicely-maintained stock that isn't super old. I've used my share of car haulers, and while those are a bit more sketchy, no issues.
I've never driven a U-Haul with a speed limiter. They go fast enough to be a lotttt of fun, 90mph maybe? Never topped one out.
Sounds like you had the same truck as me.
Penske trucks are THE WORST. THE WORST. It'd be marginally better if the governor let you maintain that speed uphill, but nope, normal PA or Ohio interstate grades slow them down to 50mph. Downhill? I swore I heard the air brakes activating. THE WORST
Ha. My Formula SAE team would rent one every year for our competition. Best part? Our campus was in Manhattan. You don't know fun driving until you're bombing through NYC streets in a 26-foot diesel box truck. Almost managed to do a burnout with one near Battery Park but quickly gave up when I realized it probably…
If this had happened once, I would've dismissed it as an unusual occurrence. But it happened repeatedly; over, and over, and over again, with all sorts of different vehicles. One guy in a GMC Yukon, lazily driving along and texting when I passed him somewhere in central Virginia, sped up to more than 100 mph to…
jason i'd let you poke my lights with arrows any time bb
Thanks!!!
Jason, I love that you even know that such a thing as a Tomos exists, even if the sound she's making is 4-stroke 4-cylinder sport bike. Here's my Tomos, I hope it turns you on: http://i.imgur.com/S90TQoq.jpg
That's fair, but neither you nor I have posted data to support our positions, in any case. I've been having a heck of a time finding similar info to the chart I posted for dry surfaces, otherwise I would have posted it first. In any case, it's a heat transfer problem, no? Heat transfer rate through leather or vinyl is…
You're countering my apples and oranges with apples and oranges. My point was that it's not so cut-and-dry as "uphosltry damage would occur." A seat heater keeping a seat at 140 would not damage the material, but would definitely cause burns after a few minutes. The big difference between that and just a hot car on a…
Please see my reply above, but essentially you can receive 3rd degree burns at alarmingly low temperatures. Time of exposure plays a big part. I was surprised when I learned how low the temperature threshold is. http://www.kirkstone.me.uk/RMsolar/Images…
Not necessarily. You don't need to be able to smell burning flesh to have a third-degree burn, one hour at 45deg C (113F): http://www.kirkstone.me.uk/RMsolar/Images…
''If we did something that really made us a world leader in four or five different product categories we're not today, something in the eyes of the customer that would say, 'Boy, we really want to give them business now because they're so good,''' that would be transformational, he said.
Clearly you haven't seen an SC300/400 door hinge: http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/origin…
