This is genius. Well done.

I only read the first sentence at first, and assumed you were making a joke about the car towing itself because Subaru. I was sad when I realized that wasn't the joke you made.

I'm honestly curious of the effects a 5mW laser would have when shone into eyes from thousands of feet away. I'm trying to understand how it would be more noticeable than any other artificial light source from that distance.

Oh great, make a scapegoat by sending a Hispanic guy away for 14 years for a crime that had no injuries or deaths, and let a drunk white kid get away with quadruple murder. Way to go, justice system. Way to show your impartiality.

Ok, but what about the new new, high tech stuff. Well, if you google around you find some serious hardware. The pistons in the McLaren 12c? Capricorn. The cylinder internals in Red Bull's F1 cars? Capricorn. Crankshafts for Renault and Ferrari engines (at least circa 2010)? Capricorn. The carbon chassis for the

That's a brand-new, gear-driven, four-cam aircooled Carrera engine right there. It can slot into your 356, 550 Spyder, or 904 GTS you lucky bastard. Not that it's cheap — a complete motor is €120,000, or $157,000.

I think it's just a chrome-plated pulley, maybe for the fan? I don't know anything about air cooled engines, but that's definitely not plastic.

Yeah. Soooooo close to a "perfect" interior! And the Hyuara is all copycat

2ZZ engine is so much fun! But I admit "VVTi-L JUST KICKED IN YO" doesn't roll off the tongue as well haha.

Yeah, I know he's the CE, I think it's quite surprising (pleasantly) that he posted that to FB! I will have to friend him :)

Ford Ka?

Does anyone else feel like you never hear about the Audi R8 anymore? Audi's Lambo-based supercar is fantastic, but as it enters its seventh year, is it old news? No worries — Audi has a new one in the pipeline, and some new ideas for it. But they are saying goodbye to the gated manual. Shit.

See?

The shifter is awesome! The mount is terrible. They've got the right idea, but they could have mounted it so much better. Look at the hole where it goes through the dash. :(

Yes, torque doesn't tell you enough information. Power does, because it tells you when the torque happens.

My goodness.

I still maintain that this rod and the way it just goes into a hole in the center stack sheet metal ruins this. The 917 higher up had the same idea, but did it better. This is awkward. The shifter itself is cool, but the mount sucks.

Yes, lets, because it's really all down to power and gearing. 1000ft-lb doesn't matter if it only happens from 100-200rpm. 100ft-lb from 2000-3000rpm would make for a much, much faster car.

Yeah, the 2014 looks better in these pictures. But the old one, my lord.

They could have, but they didn't want to. Torque doesn't matter, anyway.
