If this was an 86, where they only made 200 of the Aerocoupes for NASCAR, it would be worth that. But from the factory the only thing good about this car was its looks. A clean factory SS is in the 6-9K range these days. I’d say this Aerocoupe worth 12K on a good day, while drunk after watching Days of Thunder.

Maybe the VW Corrado? I owned one and I still don’t know where it came from. I’ve heard the sirracco was the influence, but I’m not sold

Oldsmobile Tornado Trofeo

Shh, get out of here with your logical thinking! We’re trying to make fun of FCA, like we do every day here

Best tailgater deterrent ever was in my ‘84 Tbird. It loved to run pig-rich on decel, and there was a pinhole in the front crosspipe.

I didn’t understand age restrictions when I was young but now I totally do. You are more likely to have responsibilities such as your own family, your priorities change and you are less likely looking for thrills. In other words you are far less likely to take risks on doing something stupid.

My perspective changed around 31. I didn’t think it would, but my priorities shifted

If you want a ZX-7 then BUY a ZX-7. If you want an AR80 then that’s what you buy.

Substituting a completely unrelated motorcycle for comparison is like offering a pine cone in place of an apple, reasoning that they’re both plants.

The other thing not really being discussed with things like this and Turo are... I’m not ASE certified, and I own the vehicle for personal use. But I do all of my own work. If I rent the car, or better even... own the car specifically to rent it, that’s a commercial vehicle then no? More to the point, lets say a ball

Just thought of another interesting Copart segment. There’s a “Chemical/Biohazard” classification for damage. A lot of times if you call up and ask about a specific lot they’ll have more detailed notes than what’s on the listing. Who wants to play Guess What’s Inside This Tacoma?

We’ve done 2. Mine thus far has been a smashing success. Much better than I could have imagined even with as promising as it looked. Picked it up for about $2300 delivered and I think that for the cost of a new headlight and a set of tires I can have a roadworthy 2006 Legacy GT Limited 5spd with 90k on the clock.

A few years ago I bought this from Copart in very similar shape just for the motor. It definitely a gamble and luckily it paid off.
