Your point being what? Trying to predict where the tech will be is pointless. If we (as a society) we successful in predicting the future we would have already dealt with this "situation".

I can guarantee you that any 3D printed gun made with anything less than laser sintering can be made cheaper, faster, and safer with common hardware store parts for less cost than the amount of material you would have to print to get one "right".
