In the US anyway home owners or renters insurance would have covered the value of those items. You could spend the time to buy and replace those things with the money you got. I’m pretty sure most mortgages require insurance. Renters are not required to have insurance but it is cheap and a really good idea.

Considering that Disney’s worst issue has been writing a cohesive story over multiple parts, I’m starting to think they lost the contact info of every writer for Clone Wars & Rebels.

I think they need to tell a story about Obi-Wan, not about him watching over Luke. He needs to get wrapped up in something that has nothing to do with the growing Rebel Alliance, and very early on in the show takes him off planet. Maybe even have the events of his show grow out of something that happens on Mandalore

Kennedy’s critics can be obnoxious but it is really hard to argue at this point that she has been anything close to a decent steward of this franchise. It may be more Disney execs’ fault but they especially need to stop greenlighting projects with no clear creative direction.

I would rather it be delayed than rushed like into production to meet deadlines like The Rise of Skywalker. As the great Shigeru Miyamoto said about games and can be also applied to films, “A delayed game will eventually be good, a rushed game will be forever bad.”

Not sure how far back to the drawing board they may be going, but I think they need to send Obi-Wan off-planet for this. I know the notion offends some people, because they hold his vigil on Tatooine sacred, but I want for something to come up that will force him to make a hard choice and undertake a mission

Is he still afraid of cats?

$18.99 for 8 photos?!? What a bargain!

Any word why Boden and Fleck aren’t returning? While Captain Marvel wasn’t the most visually inventive MCU film, I thought the storytelling and character work were very solid, and the film fit comfortably into the MCU ”house style.”

Building up Monica as a character before CM 2 is a good thing, lets CM 2 hit the ground running with the story it wants to tell.

That seems to be a thing with Fox. They greenlight a show, then realise it’s going to be more expensive than they thought, so they sabotage it. See also Fringe and Firefly

It steals the soul of every person it takes a photo of.

I will be happy for Jodie Whittaker to stay around as the doctor as long as she wants. It would have been shocking if she had not done a third season, as only Colin Baker and Christopher Eccleston did less than three seasons and I guess Paul McGann. But likewise only Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker (and no doctors from the

Jodie’s awesome, I want her around as long as possible.

Man, don’t remind me of Almost Human. The show deserved better. Great cast, but its writing got skewed and felt inconsistent because FOX aired the show out of order. And airing it on Fridays did not help its chances.

It would be amazing if Jodie ultimately ends up being the Doctor longer than Tom was, but I’d be happy with her “just” being the longest-tenure Doctor of the new era.

I guess, to be fair, that they came for Lando because the Final Order had just used a Star Destroyer to destroy a planet, and had thousands more capable of the same. In TFA, Star Killer Base destroyed planets, but it was destroyed almost immediately, so perhaps all those people that felt complacent to let the First

I mean, I think the series was doomed from the moment Disney bought LucasFilm but I know I’m in the minority on that. But I see a lot of people bring up those potential Reddit leaks as proof that Disney, not J.J., are responsible for the worst parts of TROS. Take out the worst parts though, and it’s still not a great

I mean, the series was doomed as soon as they failed to keep the production staff consistent (letting Rian handle the middle movie which is sort of critical to a saga’s arch) was a omen of worse things to come... JJ might have mocked the full original trilogy, but at least it would have been consistent and the plot
