Oh yeah. And that was my biggest problem with TFA — apart from the one shot of Hosnian Prime, we really didn’t see much of civilized space, just military bases and isolated outposts. They really tried too hard to recreate the look and feel of the OT, rejecting anything that would remind people of the prequels.

The cities of the prequels were probably some of the best parts of the prequels.

From what I’ve heard, Episode VIII is very prequel-esque in terms of aesthetics, probably because it’s set partly within the Republic, as opposed to the OT-style frontier worlds of TFA. Laura Dern’s character sounds very prequel-esque — pink hair and fancy ball gowns.

Luke Cage went to prison (again), and it remains to be seen how he gets out, Danny Rand is a billionaire, and Jessica Jones had a good lawyer.

He is the only one with a life to protect outside of superheroing

He’s the only one with a secret identity, because Danny is an idiot.

Nope, that’s Jewel Staite playing Dr. Keller.

No way is it Kaylee’s fault. I blame Bull Nye for being too much the Science Guy.

Oh, sure. Blow up one star system and you get blamed for everything after that.

So glad I don’t have to hear “Son of a Preacher Man” “Living for the City” or Beatles week again. Every freaking year, the same 20 or so songs are heard over and over. Hope the reboot doesn’t reboot the catalog.

It’s probably the fault of one of these guys:

Yo dawg, listen up. I really liked your comment, but it was a bit pitchy.

I’m not sure, but watching 19 year olds singing golden oldies, trying to “make it their own” was simply awful. You could tell that a bunch of old assholes were making the decisions.

Wasn’t there an age limit, too? There was in the first few seasons, which is why all the older people flocked to America’s Got Talent. Does the Voice have an age limit? Cause everyone on that thing looks young, too.

AI died because it had a horrifically limited and stale repertoire to choose from, and routinely chose singers for reasons other than raw singing ability.
