Actually enjoyed this movie more than most of the Next Gen movies. That opening scene with the Klingon ships and the camera rotating over them was incredible in the theater back in 1979.

I’m hoping Disney assimilates Paramount and WB so I can hopefully get better quality Star Trek and DC Comic movies. I say hopefully because of the missteps Lucasfilm has with The Last Jedi which I personally didn’t like much (Luke deserved better) and to a lessor degree Solo which I enjoyed.
