As someone who lives in Texas, I do love the Sheetz. They aren't as grand as Bucees, but for a normal-sized gas station they're awesome.

You left out "I can buy a (insert entry level car here) and put (insert aftermarket upgrades that ruin practicality and reliability of car manufactured by Godspeed / OBX / Other bootleg eBay brands here) and be just as fast for (insert total amount less than the cost of a brand new Toyota Avalon here)…
They're charging more because they're selling someone not everyone can have.
Why are you people so limited processing that the buyer for this isn't buying the Stingray or the Z/28 / ZL1, they're buying them all and keeping them?
The clients for this car aren't comparing the Stingray to the Z/28, they're buying both, as well as a 20' Featherlight with a stone guard to hook up to their Escalade / Denali so they can take it to a track day at the local venue that they are an annual or lifetime member of.
It's about time the market quit trying to…
Is this car worth every penny of $75,000? Nope.
Will the buyers for this car happily pay $75,000 to have one? Absolutely.
'Merica.
This is how you can tell GM has learned how to MAKE money on stuff like this to continue to turn out stuff like this. People will buy it, and everyone at GM, the engineering team, and the…
Had the opportunity to come be a part of the team here, proud of it. Certainly do a lot more incredible things over here!
The car was on eBay, wouldn't cost that much to replicate.
Stop ignoring the 500+ cars Hennessey builds each year, and holding onto something you read on the internet 10 years ago. Use common sense, and realize that Hennessey builds 500+ cars a year, has been around 22 years. Couldn't do that if your post was true.
Thanks.
They've just posted this Instagram video with one of their Corvettes on the SH-130 Toll Road in Texas where they got a Cadillac up to 220 MPH. They were joined this time by Texas State Trooper's Dodge Challenger SRT8.
A comparable Impala (which still falls very short of the SS) with 2LT trim (the SS would be a 3LT car), less power, less everything is $3,000 cheaper. It's priced on point for where it should be for GM's flagship sedan, and compared to other $40+ up sedans, it's pretty competitive.
The SS's are incredible, we just finished our new HPE600 package on our shop SS (Hennessey). I know we've all heard "If they sell well a manual version" bla bla bla, but with a subpar fullsize 2LT Impala (which is priced accordingly for entry level models) near the same price as the SS there are a lot of buyers for…
That's why any Dodge dealer in the country is taking $143k sticker cars and trying to unload them for $105k.
They didn't sell, they missed the mark. They can make as many as they want, but since they haven't sold more than 1/2 of the current stock maybe they should rethink building them without being prepared to…
One surge tank is for the cooling system, one surge tank is for the heat exchanger on the supercharger.
We already sell a 650 / 700 horse variant of the Boss. Matt's driven it too.
Look,
The motherland didn't win WWII without some American Firepower.
Wrong. Body is built in Austin, TX. Some of the chassis fabrication is done in the UK on the vehicle, and some assembly in the UK.
All powertrain, and almost all assembly is done here in Sealy, TX.
It's the same car / same people, Hennessey doesn't build racecars so the car's owner founded M2K to avoid Hennessey having to put it on the back burner when we were overwhelmed up here.
It was a win/win for everyone and we're all still totally excited to see them setting World records!
They were called out by people who work at that facility for running 1.5 miles instead of 1 mile.
I'm sure it's on Snopes at this point it's that flagrant of BS.
When the Viper was originally released it had way more than anyone else.
Now it's not even a contender. Zone of Tolerance, the Viper set its own bar for customer expectations, then seemingly with the Gen5 car forgot about it.
