Did you use CM7.1? It killed Samsung's superior original camera software. At least on my Captivate. And Vignette nor any other program I've used (PhotoAF, trying to recapture the excellent Samsung panoramic feature) has even closely replaced it.

Give a look at the alternative launchers, I'd recommend. I dig WiMo 7.5, but CAN'T LIVE without Flash. I use Launcher 7 because it radically simplifies my interface while preserving the highly useful live tiles. Doesn't hurt having CM7 under the hood, either.
