I like it! It's an interesting looking car, and the owner of it is not likely to ever see another one on the road. Add to that the slot mags (I've yet to see a car that doesn't look cool with slot mags), and it totals up to one sweet little cruisemobile. #fordcapri

Well, after a quick look around, it seems that some of my biggest gripes from the last few "improvements" have been addressed. We'll see how it goes, I guess. #cotomersevis

@IN THE FACE!: Not all art is aesthetically pleasing to everybody. That doesn't lessen its value as art, though.

Well done, Prawdo.

I like it. Oddly enough, it reminds me much more of the original 240Z than the current 370Z does. I really wish they had done something more reminiscent of the AE-86 Corolla or Mk II Supra, though.

Wow. Nice car and apparently well put together, too. Nice price for sure.

Now playing

@Deartháir II: Let me add my voice to the clamor, and say that I'll miss your input here too. I understand that things do change whether or not we want them too (which is why most of my commenting happens on weekends now), and I applaud you for being able to recognize that that which made you a star may not be able

@gabeedwards01: I love the way the girls in the car are giggling...

@Captain Liverspots: A PMY ~'73 Olds Ninety-Eight with a giant cock head on the roof? Awesome!

@Mad_Science: If you combine a 4.2 crank and rods with a 4.0 block and pistons you get a 4.4. Just sayin'...

@CptSevere: Nope. No straight front axle. the front diff mounts to the engine block (believe it or not) and it has halfshafts up front with CV joints outboard and tri-pot joints inboard like a FWD car. The front diff is a Dana 30 and the rear is a Dana 40. The auto trans is a Chrysler 902, the manual is a B-W T5

@suzq044: Me too, but the Kammback is my all-time fave. (Other than the rare as chicken lips Sundancer Convertible.)

@purebusiness: All of the switching related to the 4WD system on these is vacuum. When it works, it's wonderful. When it doesn't? Not so much. Fortunately comprehensive vacuum diagrams are easy to find.

@citroën67: I saw one for sale at the Dream Cruise, the guy wanted ...(wait for it)... ... ...$8,000! I ROFLMAOd on the spot. Would have laughed in the guy's face, had he been around. When people ask if mine's for sale, I say "No, but I'm willing to sell it for the right money." Fully expecting them to think I'm

@carlivar: Fair warning: The main reason you don't see them in SoCal is because the emissions controls are ungodly complicated and the parts to keep them exactly stock (as CA law appears to require) simply aren't available anymore. If it were simply a sniff test with no visual, you could do the 4.0 head conversion

@tonyola: You're probably onto something there. They weren't available with 4WD until 1949, though.

@MadcowsDiseased: Not a wagon and never produced. They only ever built four prototypes (for the military).

@HiramJahoovafat: Except the Suburban (which came out in 1933 as a station wagon body on a 1/2 ton truck frame, BTW) didn't get 4WD until 1960:-(
