@citroën67: They're out there in nicer shape then mine in the $1,000-1,500 range. Lots of them have <100k miles on them, too.

@tonyola: Actually the first four-wheel-drive Subaru Leone wagons were introduced in Japan in 1972 and the US in 1974.

@.357: Who? I'll have to heart-click that guy;-)

@FromaBuick6: That platform lasted a good long while, too. People assume it was all-new for '70 when the Hornet was introduced, but the Hornet was actually a new body on the all-new-for-'64 American platform.

@maximum-sienna: I really don't have the time for such a project, but I'll sell you the parts...

Oddly enough, I have one of those Eaton superchargers, including the manifold, fuel rail, injectors, throttle body, wiring harness and ECU. I've been trying to find something to do with them, but have no clear plan. Any ideas?

@dedgsus: LOLpocalypse Now! Another old favorite.

@smalleyxb122: With a 4.2 crank, making it a 4.4, natch. I like the way your mind works.

People who put Chevy small-blocks into vehicles that didn't roll out of the General's shops generally annoy the hell out of me. This is an exception. This thing is so balls-out over the top that I have to grudgingly approve, if only because of the throbby-veiny forehead thingys it will bring to red-faced BMW snobs

@junkman: I respect you too much to doubt your word, but two of fourteen ever made for sale in the same place? It boggles the mind.

So when are you going away and giving the rest of us a chance again?

@p0wn: Aww, thanks. I was gong to mention mine instead of the Rambler, but it's got woodgrain on it and I get admiring, even longing glances from hipster douches all the time.

@BburgMW: That doesn't prevent the cop from being a douchebag, though.

@bugattatra: I guess that hangs on your defenition of "tasteful".

@BigHarv: A girl, erm- car like that is hard to wash from your memory. God knows I've tried.

@Deartháir II: I'm sure there's a douchified (original) Mini out there somewhere, but I haven't seen it.

@skaycog: Wood-paneled wagons are hipster douche crack right now (or was that last year?) That one's mighty purty, though.

@TimTim: The SVT rims aren't the half of it. The HO 5.0 backed with a five-speed and Mustang GT suspension bits are the pertinent features of this particular LTD.
