I genuinely think the last person I remember as a winner of American Idol was Phillip Phillips (and even though it was just the one song). I don’t know if I’ve ever heard of a winner of The Voice put out a single. Is there a point to these shows aside from being relatively cheap?

Another outlet reported that she is standing down because she is mixed race and only part API. My unimportant opinion is that’s silly since I think an awful lot of API people are part European now. Also, her skin is a little lighter than it was in the cartoon. The writer over at The Root tried to say the paparazzi never treated Kate like this because she’s not black. Like, the same paparazzi who used telephoto lenses to take topless pictures of Kate while she was on vacation and published them. Yep, they treat her like gold because she’s white.

If nothing else it’s pretty obviously that they absolutely love attention in all forms. They both seem to have had messed up childhoods so it’s not really surprising. Unfortunately, since they’re rich, everybody will cater to them rather than continually suggesting they get the help they so obviously need.
