Wow, that's a stretch. His work in recent years has definitely suffered, but to imply he has no talent, or that he never did, is patently absurd.

As far as blazing a trail for other women pop artists to be more explicitly sexual in her work, yeah, she did that. She should be recognized for having done it. The rest of this? Yeah, she can be called out. Credits and demerits are due where appropriate.

Abrupt? Nah. The high cost and no buzz and zero ratings means that it was pretty inevitable that the new management especially was gonna cancel this show. And with the way season 4 ended by literally everyone including almost all the main cast dying, one gets the sense that the writers knew it was coming. 

Can’t say I’m surprised. Even as a regular viewer it got to the point in the last two seasons where I had no clue what was happening.

Anything rented, store bought or that requires professional make-up artists and costume designers is an automatic fail. Home made or bust.
