I’ve complained about the Spider Man movies - at least the latest reboot is a little different. But the Garfield versions were head-scratchers to me.

while true and effective; drinking the occasional water (or soda, etc.) every couple of beers or so will also slow down your beer consumption which isn’t a bad thing (for me at least... I don’t drink super often, but some days the beers just flow and before you know it you’ve had 10-12)

When there is no more meat, and only then, will I try one of these impossible burgers.. I don’t see the point - they are no healthier than a regular burger, and I assume vegans/vegetarians wouldn’t eat anything at a BK as it is bound to be tainted with other meat juices and meat-adjacent products...

I don’t know Lucas’ involvement in Rogue One, but it’s by far my favorite movie in the Star Wars Universe. Give me more stand-alone movies that don’t have to be force-fitted into a 9-movie arc.

Complainers are the worst. Their lives are so shitty, that the only time they feel empowered is to belittle someone on the other end of a phone line or other side of a counter. They can only raise their own spirits by knocking down someone else’s.

in all seriousness - in a corporate world, he is going to at least be in some trouble (as well as the manager who left him high and dry). What if blue man cuts his hand or slips and falls?

this is the gist of it... I work for a men’s clothing retailer (home office, not in the stores), and we’ve had coupon/promotion mistakes - none that cost anything like $8m (but 100k is nothing to sneeze at either)...

Loved both, so I won’t pick nits. I can’t even explain why I like Mad Men so much... most of the characters were bad people, there were long stretches of the series where nothing happened - but the actors were all so strong, I never wanted to miss an episode live.

this is really 75% of the people who stand immediately (including me). The other 25% legitimately think it’s getting them off the plane faster.

They’re spending advertising dollars at this point just to spend them right? If Progressive pulls all advertising for a month, does it have ANY impact to their bottom line? I can’t imagine it would - in fact, they may have a couple million excess dollars from curbing their expenses.
