I too reward bad behavior... I come in planning on 20%, and the mediocre server will get 20% (and the very good server will too). I think with KD, it’s a real insecurity. I was very near him off-court in Memphis earlier this year - he really hunches over and tries (as much as a 7-footer can) to blend into a crowd.

I’ve done time working retail (not fast food, but high volume like CVS) as well as customer service. It really can make someone’s day to say something nice - and it works from both sides of the register or phone and costs nothing.

Long term, it may have a life. When cows are outlawed due to excessive methane emissions and I have no more beef, then and only then, will I turn to the plant-based stuff.
