This is in Los Angeles, so the weather in Detroit probably has little or no effect on the tires. Electric cars will pretty much always be quicker than their comparable ICE counterparts - Instant torque goes a long way in making a car feel quick.

$20k can easily buy you a great Miata and a lot of track time... Hell, if you’d prefer, you could buy a cheap one, turbo it (correctly) and still have enough left over for professional training. 

I’m 6'3" and drive a Miata NB... on the track... with a racing seat. I also spend a lot more on flights because I always need to upgrade to the comfort+ economy class... but I also have to stand in the back of all the pictures and at concerts...

By the time Tesla got their hands on the Fremont plant it was a lot more Toyota than GM.

I personally can work from home but prefer the focus I get from being in the office away from my dogs and Xbox... wouldn’t it be nice if the other 50-75% of people didn’t go in though. My install is constantly asking for my iCloud password. It’s not to the point that it’s really annoying, so I haven’t searched for a fix yet. Anyone else experience that?
