I’ve never averaged more than 20 in my NB... then again most of the miles I’ve put on it have been on the track or going to it, so probably in the low teens.

I’m getting about 28 combined in my Mazda3...
‘Cross Overs’ man... they killed it. They killed it and didn’t even realize it. Just went on with their lives while they trampled the dreams and aspirations of 10's of hundreds. I witnessed it first hand but we just had to keep moving. *single tear*
If they built this, I would currently be driving one. No doubt.
Sounds like Los Angeles... I’m currently selling a duplex my brother and I bought back in 2008. If we get what we’re asking we’ll get about 90% ROI due to the fact that we bought in an area that has become more desirable. Even with that we won’t be able to afford much more than a modest starter home outside of Los…
An investment doesn’t always mean you’re going to make money. Good health is an investment. Education is an investment. Granted, with property it’s typically an appreciating asset... but it’s an investment in your future and it’s land you own.
Wait... what? How is it not an investment?
I’m currently in the market for a new home in Thousand Oaks, CA and I’ve found some amazing places with beautiful neighborhoods and competitively priced homes... but they have HOA’s... those HOA dues have been pretty consistent at about $250-$400 a MONTH. If I live in the house for 10 years that’s $30k on the low side…
I’ve been thinking about getting the 3.5L F-150, but this may put a pause on that... 30 mpg is about what my Mazda 3 gets right now and it won’t tow my Miata :)
Sadly, you’re correct. My lucrative gig as a human alarm clock and light switch operator is not long for this world.
Your pun, while nice could have been improved.
If you get a 3 year/36k mile lease and turn it in at 32 months for the same make, a lot of times they will ignore the milage. I had a 2013 Mazda 3 2.0 touring with 39,000 miles and with 6 months left on my lease I was able to upgrade to a 2015 2.5 GT S hatch and didn’t pay a cent for going over miles. Plus I got the…
$3,500/10 = $350/12 = $30 a month... For a lot of people, having the latest technology, safety, efficiency and performance features is easily worth the cost of about 1 tank of gas per month... which incidentally you may save over the long term by having a more efficient car and not needing to buy tires, brakes, belts…
That makes sense... don’t be surprised if you start getting stronger opinions on things you thought were out of your realm. People tend to shy away from things they don’t know much about, which is an obvious catch 22. Glad to see you’re not.
Edit... read that wrong - I thought you said you’d go with the 4 doors....
Legit question... if you’re not a fan of cars what are you doing on Jalopnik? Did you link to this story off of Gizmodo or Deadspin?
Those lights and rear vents scream Corvette. Not buying the Cadillac angle.
