wouldn’t it make sense to at least remove things like the wheels, tires, light housings, seats and other, nondegraded bits? Sure, what’s $4000 worth of wheels and seats to Ford... but man, I could have made a couple of bucks off that stuff... or figured out a way to put those Ricaros in my NB :D

Happens all the time in LA.

I’ve watched people go into absolute internal meltdowns due to me giving them a simple thumbs down and a sad face; it’s magical. Alternatively, a sarcastic thumbs up is equally difficult for some to deal with.

Aerodynamics are probably the biggest contributor to range in an electric vehicle... or any vehicle. Why not make it even a bit more streamlined?

Nobody assumes that... at least not that I’ve experienced and I’ve been carrying the thing for 18 months. I was kidding about the pistol, I live in Los Angeles and don’t have a CCW, but it does have a “hidden”spot for it.

What I’m saying is that if this ever rolled off an assembly line it wouldn’t have that turbo’d 4 cylinder making 404 hp. It would probably roll out with the very respectable 205 hp Civic Si’s motor (~Miata territory) and maybe have a limited edition Type R with the 306 hp motor (370z territory).

I’m guessing if they actually made this, it’d be more in line with a Miata, at most a 370z.

This is a toy for rich people... not unlike a high end motorcycle or a sports car. They’re inevitably going to get cocky, disrespect it and kill themselves. If he’d been piloting a Ferrari or a Ducati it’d just be another famous person killed by incompetence.
