Not really. The Macan has an already low seating position for its class.
A Macan S on 19" wheels with PASM has a seat height of 20" off the ground. Panamera is just about 17" off the ground. Lower the car 2" with Bilstein active coil overs and you’re sitting at 18", very close.

Get a good coilover setup for the macan and you’ll sit at ~5" off the ground while feeling OEM. The demand for a smaller sports sedan just isn’t there. The Macan already feels and drives like one while offering much more utility.

I think it’s important to note, which isn’t very specifically called out in the press release or most articles I’ve seen. The GT4 variant uses a Harrop TVS 1900 supercharger vs the Evora and base Emira’s Edelbrock 1750 (pretty sure it’s 1750).

TheEvora430 does not have a screen, just heavy PPF.  My guess is the SUV will be the same.  MOST (not all) rocks will be flung down low and out the back.  An SUV also likely won’t have anywhere near as sticky tires.

Current Evora 400 owner here, previous 981 GT4 owner. Call me a sucker all you want. The Lotus handles better, looks better, and is pretty close in lap times. (my local track is VIR) 981 GT4 record is 2:54, Evora 400/GT come in just under 3:00.

While I agree with this as exciting.  I think seeing the final production versions of the Emira in the next few years will be an exciting end to Lotus ICE.  I’m hoping for a 450 hp version to cap things off as we already saw the 430 evora and exige ends.
