I agree completely with your sentiment! I also had a Saab (900se) with the center-mounted switches and thoroughly enjoyed the start-up sequence. The fact that these things were all accessible just rearward of the shifter worked extraordinarily well, especially if your passenger decided he or she would like to open,

Truly fascinating. Though synthetic bottle corks and twist-offs should free up the material for other uses... like insulation, which cork is exceedingly good for!

Totally not a 991. Easily identified as a 997. Dig the livery though... aside from those wheels.

I do believe the 1974 Saab Sonett III qualifies as the remarkably slowest sports car; making use of a meager 65 HP to scream from 0 to 60 in 12.5 seconds.

@TheAntiCat: Hahah, good point. That punk's not holding a key, it's a futuristic spraypaint canister.

it's only about 7 hours from Manhattan.

In case anyone's interested in a road trip, here's the Googlemaps location: I'm in NYC, totally willing to go. Who's with me? Anyone have a DSLR?

Looks pretty hot.

THAT is an excellent shot.

Isn't this just a Yaris? Or is it obvious to everyone but me that it's something else entirely?
