If MS released a non-standard, non-open, non-backwards compatible way of streaming everyone would bash them, Apple does it and Giz gets a woody.

@ecapox: It says WHO is dying, not by whom. And the article clearly states, both in the title and further down.

Don't worry there will be a fix out in a week or so. :p

What would you like them to say? 3G+? They have a superior tech and they want to sell it.

@evanminn01: The only problem with android is then you get comments like "bought it, played it for 4 hours, beat it, refunded". Person obviously got to enjoy the game but now they want their money back. :(

So moral of the story is that in a sea of 300k+ apps you are going nowhere unless Apple notices you. For 4 months here was an app that apparently is a great game but no one had a clue it existed, it was languishing.

@The_Game21x: It seems so, the developer who made the chart SPECIFICALLY says it didn't hurt them but the poster of this article completely ignores it. If the DEV says it didn't matter why make an issue of it?

@king_saberhawk: I don't get it the hype... played a couple of levels then un-installed.

@chefgon: Sounds awesome, thanks for the info

@chefgon: Is zune allowed to play in the background? Can you play zune music while emailing for example? I know 3rd party apps can't do that, just wondering if MS is allowing their own app to do it. That would be very nice if so.

I'm buying one because iPhones remind me of Win3.11 (just a bunch of icons plastered all over) and I don't really like the navigation in the OS... and yes, I've used them alot, my wife has one.

@ddhboy: They built sense long before the HD2

@OCEntertainment: Fluff like that wins over average users. People gravitate towards shiny and pretty not power and function. Most people are gonna show their friends and say look how cool it is, not "look I can enter 8 notes in the time it takes you to do 2".

"and flat for... well, there's definitely got to be a reason it can flatten."

@pixelpushing: Apple wouldn't do it because they control every aspect of the hardware and software so they can control that timeline. Sure google can coordinate, but if the vendor says "hey we need 3 months to get MotoBlur or Sense working on 2.2" do you expect google to hold off on releasing Froyo?

@Michael Scrip: I've got 2.2 and flash running on my vzw droid. Works fine, not great, but for quick stuff that I used to have to switch to a desktop to watch it's acceptable.

@Guizzy: "In any case, I hate non-game apps and I wish the fad would just die. "

@Lupus_Yonderboy: "Wish that we (as "Market Shoppers") had the ability to "mark this comment as spam" or something of the sort."
