What’s the use for that 30 sec dimming thing? To blind motorists at the last second?

Actually, the German car companies just change the exact same amber part to red for the US. They probably think it looks better and I do, too. They could just leave it amber if they wanted but they don’t.
Because we have stupid fucking lighting laws. Amber should be required - it’s not, so automakers try to save a few pennies by incorporating the turn signal into the red tail light. Not only is it less safe, it’s uglier too.
They all know they are there but the vast majority never use them.
I wonder how many owners either don’t know about the umbrellas or forget and never use them?
Wrong MINI interior logo.. This one was first, and way more covert:
No one said the moose on the Volvo 850 instrument cluster circuit board?
That Skoda is a Superb Mk2 which only had one umbrella, in the rear left door (on LHD and RHD cars).
The mercedes SL has one of these in the pocket of the door, but I wouldn’t necessarily think of it as an Easter egg as much as it is a nice touch
How about the clever umbrella pocket in the doors of high-end cars like Rolls Royces and Skodas?
That’s... Actually a pretty dope art style. Almost feels like a waste that it’s only being used for avatars, I would watch a Pixar flick with characters like these.
