Giant tv screens that aren’t intuitive to use are very distracting, even for simple functions.
Neutral: If they are like every other automated system on US public roads and are operated by a non-governmental 3rd party, then no. It may work elsewhere, but here in the US they’ll turn into a money making scheme like speed traps and red light cameras.
Make phone use a 3 strikes your out policy. Three infractions, loss of license for 10 years.
I don’t agree with Clarkson hating on Greta, but I think his message is valid. Why should we sit around and argue about how we are going to die and when we are going to die, instead of focusing on how to fix these issues?
Ok, keep strip mining the earth for the precious metals needed for battery production. You don’t get something from nothing.
Hatchback or stay home
I’m not sure how this solves the profitability problem. If you’re drunk and their aren’t enough Ubers, it’s because there’s not enough market to support more Ubers, or the number of vehicles on the road at that time at that place have been limited.

Everybody is commenting on how unreliable these are based on anecdotal “common knowledge”. I’ve owned two of the least reliable luxury marques in the past 5 years, a RR Evoque and now a fully optioned Ghibli, white with red leather for the maximum gold chain/chest hair effect. 8 months ago, bought certified for $35k…
Now why exactly will people attend electric car races? Cars quietly whirring around a track—basically amped-up golf carts doing their thing—could it get any duller?
So they’ll just use Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bugatti, SEAT, and Bentley for gasoline powered Motorsports?
Drove one for two weeks. Turbo lag was my main take away. Fairly quick when the turbo finally spooled up. It wasn’t so much ‘lag’ per say, but more like free time. You had personal time, you could work on an elusive yoga pose, make a pot of tea, sit down and think about the state of the world, and then the turbos…
