I’m not sure how this solves the profitability problem. If you’re drunk and their aren’t enough Ubers, it’s because there’s not enough market to support more Ubers, or the number of vehicles on the road at that time at that place have been limited.

Drove one for two weeks. Turbo lag was my main take away. Fairly quick when the turbo finally spooled up. It wasn’t so much ‘lag’ per say, but more like free time. You had personal time, you could work on an elusive yoga pose, make a pot of tea, sit down and think about the state of the world, and then the turbos…

The updated Ghibli, Shamal and Quattroporte IV were better cars. Not world beaters but interesting alternatives to the M3 and M5 of the time. The Shamal and the cup version of the Ghibli are reasonably collectible today.
