Sorry Max, that is just not true. Citroen owned Maserati from 1968 through 1975. The oil embargo and oil crisis of 73 and 74 made it difficult for Citroen to sell many Maserati powered SMs while at the same time bleeding red ink from the launch of the (then) all new CX. So Citroen liquidated Maserati and, in 1975, it

I was all in until I saw the seller. Guarantee you this car is completely misrepresented.

I would rather be called a bitch than be brain washed and unwilling to fight for what I love.

Considering $26k barely buys you a new Accord, I think this was well bought. A hand made, air cooled Porsche is still desirable even in the least desirable color and body type. And, in my opinion, the 993s and 964s aren’t all they are cracked up to be. I found the earlier 911s much more engaging to drive and soulful.

I’m sure it’s going to be really exciting for the engineers working on the development of electric race cars, but for spectators this is a big zero. I can’t imagine anything less exciting than watching an electric race car go around a track with no sound. No emotion. No soul.

Making a hot hatch without a manual is like making a Ferrari without a gated.... oh wait.

Let me know if that comes back up for sale!

The later inter cooled BiTurbos and 430s / 228s were much, much better cars and under valued. I’m looking for one to daily so feel free to send any leads my way.

I’m seriously crushing for a first gen Q45 with no grill. So clean and so non conformist, even on the inside where there was no wood. Only problem is there’s non left!

Cheap compared to what? Replacing tires and brakes on that will get spendy real quick too. Cheapest and most fun way to go racing is still SpecE30

No way this is real, I’m Indynial.

That is hot.

I’ve got $20k and a 6 speed manual Gran Sport Coupe that says you’re wrong.

Maserati, soon to be the next Lancia. There is a place for electrified vehicles, but Maserati needs to keep making glorious sounding ICE motors that make grown men and women cry. Otherwise there is no compelling reason to buy a Maserati.

Was getting ready to type an angry response about another electric supercar with no soul. So mark me as over the moon excited that we’re getting this with a V8 and a manual. I’ll start saving now.

Does it make you want to set it on fire every time you approach the car and look at that grill?

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

My 1978 Lincoln disagrees with you.

Neutral: When you consider the environmental impact of manufacturing the original ICE car, scrapping a perfectly good running OBD2 car, and then manufacturing another car to replace it, this program has nothing to do with “saving the environment”.

I was called out for making a blanket statement and I would like to acknowledge, that after doing my own research, I was wrong. Thank you for pointing out that there is a huge difference in the bearing design between the M96 and M97. As punishment for spewing negativity across the Jalop ethernet, I promise to find at
