Sale-en ingles for this XP8triot?
“This” was what all the fanfare and cars under camo covers was about today? Glad I didn’t stick around for the press release.... sorry, Hyundai, even the Camry’s design is more exciting than this, although I’m sure it will be a fleet sales pleaser.
Just let me know when this gets “demonized” so I can officially own the most useless SUV with no seats and drag radials.
Buy this and drive it for the next 100k miles for less than the cost of a new Nissan Versa. Bullet proof motor, durable transmission with fluid changes, timeless styling and nice driving dynamics. What’s not like? Missing pixels, maybe a big $$ A/C repair and an appetite for front end components. Who cares, the $ /…
The QP is the essence of a sports luxury car, and I put sports first intentionally because so did Maserati. Anything with a Ferrari v8 and 47/53 distribution is clearly sports oriented.
This tells me that the majority of Cadillac’s customer base knows more about lingerie than steering feel, but honestly aside from somewhat niche brands like Maserati and sub brands like AMG, RS, and M, what luxury car maker caters to the enthusiast anymore? We’re a dying breed.
And I’m sure CR is the first place most Ghibli buyers are consulting before making their purchase. If you’re reading CR to buy a Ghibli you should probably be looking at a Lexus anyway (or something equally beige).
No Milanos for the US past 1989. And sorry, mine isn’t for sale :)
I own two horrible Alfa’s: a 1989 Milano Verde and a 1982 Spider Veloce. I’ll keep perpetuating the myth about how unreliable and finicky these cars are so you still have a chance to buy a Milano on the cheap. You can thank me later... they are criminally underrated.
Electric fire engines. Yeah ok. When you’re house is burning down let me know how that works out.
Thank you sir, I wood give you another star if I could. And, why yes, that is a mahogany shift knob, lovingly refinished by the PO’s wife to perfection. Ok, let me clarify, she polished the Alfa’s knob to perfection, not mine.
In theory, yes. It has a catalytic converter on it... but cars older than OBD2 no longer need to be smogged in NJ. That’s a recent law... when I first bought the Spider in March 2015, it was cars wearing antique plates older than 25 years that were exempt. Anyway, short story long, I never ran it through the NJ…
Yes, 1982 is the only year Spider for the S2 body style and Bosch FI. It’s red with light chocolate leather (original Alfa) interior and beige cloth top. I converted the rear to the smaller, euro bumper and was about to do the front - I have all the pieces. $8500 and I’ll finish the conversion. I’m located in NJ close…
Another option: R107 Mercedes roadster. This is the quintessential cool, old guy cruiser. Reliable, classy and timeless with surprising performance in 560sl guise. Mine comes with a $18,000 rebate. Yes, I need to unload a few cars....
My small bumper, Series 2 Alfa Spider with Bosch fuel injection. Dead nuts reliable, timeless Pininfarina lines, top down motoring with brio, tons of parts and support, and instantly cool across generations. Mine even comes with a $21,500 rebate.
It’s a fake.
When you hit me on my citi bike.... you don’t have to stop but maybe you could call me an Uber?
Porsche and Aston Martin get it. I’ll bet someone a 1981 733i (manual, of course) or cash equivalent it will be less than 2 years before another Ferrari appears in production with a gated shifter.
