Cmon Cadillac, I’m the customer you would love to add to your “win” portfolio. I’ve owned Euro brands my whole life, possess the right demographic profile and have been looking for an excuse to buy an American car with stunning design language. This is it. But will you make it??

Is that what the Monaco costs now?? I picked up mine new for $2500 from a certified Tag dealer. Quite the bargain apparently...

I’ve had my Monaco for about 6 years now and love it. It gets complements frequently can be worn casually with jeans or can also scale up and look the part with a suit. It keeps time reasonably accurately, although a $35 Casio would probably do a better job if I’m being honest. But you’re not buying this to keep time.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic. Yes, will go with sarcasm. Surely a Jalop would know better than to lump the Delta Integrale into the econo hatch bucket.

Yeah. No.

Forget “tinkering” and “winter project”. Put a t-belt and water pump on it, by some winter tires and have yourself a perfectly balanced, snow drift mobile. NP!

If the FIA had any sort of clear directive and issued swift action to Max to concede the position instead of lolligagging until after the race, Seb would not have been in that position. These guys are all paid guns and until the FIA starts consistently enforcing a published set of rules, I hold NONE of the drivers

This may be the worst recap of what actually happened in a f1 race ever to make print.

Best argument I’ve seen for an AWD car.

Good point. Some better examples of cars now touting AWD that are not performance based are pretty much the entire up from MB, BMW, Jaguar, and Lexus. Yes, you can now order your Lexus GS with AWD for those days when you’re wife is out with the Suburban shopping for presents for little Tyler, Aiden and Brooklyn.

Yep, they were 17" E class wheels and snows. Anything less than 17" will not clear the E55's front calipers.

That’s ok. Alfa will jack it up, put some hideous body cladding on it for us, and sell us on the added weight, complexity and cost of AWD and call it the Giulia Rubicon.

Awesome!! Keep ‘em coming!

Makes no sense. An extra set of tires vs. the added cost, weight and performance penalties of AWD.

Thank you for sharing this excellent example of why ANY RWD car is more than capable in the snow with the right tires. If I had to pick between investing in an extra set of tires or spending an additional $1500 - $3000 for AWD with 300 extra pounds and less driving fun, I’ll happily buy another set of snow tires.

Headline: really old gen E430 4matic now available for ATM money. But you’ll have more fun with the same vintage E55.

This is the grand deception of 2016. Somehow we’ve been led to believe that if you live in the snowbelt you NEED an AWD car / truck / SUV / CUV. Witness the birth of the AWD AMG E63, Jag F type, etc. I don’t know where this originated from, but somehow I suspect the manufacturers are the culpable ones, scaring us into

Neutral: I’m 42 and still haven’t bought a new car. I’m the guy that every car maker hates. But it’s hard to justify the price of buying new when depreciation makes once exotics now affordable. The Evora is mighty tempting though!

This car has Lemons written all over it. Rip out the interior, weld in a cage, throw some used control arms and ball joints in there and race it until it blows up. Oh wait, this is a M30 we’re talking about, so unless it runs dry it will NEVER blow up.

I suppose I found the humor of a motor idling at 5 grand harder to ignore than the reality of a f1 motor actually being able to do this. Thanks for keeping me honest.
