We're arguing semantics but yes, while the act of sarcasm might be passive aggressive in itself, the act of writing a letter very clearly explaining your complaint and leaving your personal contact details is not, even if it was sprinkled with a dose of sarcasm. Overall the act doesn't seem very passive aggressive to

I think you're confusing sarcasm for being passive aggressive. If this letter is anything it's direct, nothing passive about it.

No worries. Sit on the right side of the plane. That way you'll be able to see the Hollywood sign, downtown LA, Hollywood Hills, etc during final approach. Otherwise you'll be looking at Long Beach and smog.

I casually keep an eye out to see if other passengers decline in hopes that they'll come around and offer up the left overs. I prefer to have a buffet of warm cookies. One is just a teaser.

Check in online before you get to the airport. You don't need to be at the airport to check-in. You can do it online and Virgin actually sends you an email 24 hours before departure reminding you to check in.

You can check into your flight exactly 24 hours before departure. Try to check in as soon as you can and you'll see the option to upgrade to main cabin select as you're checking in. You'll also get an option to upgrade to first if that's available. It's something like $120.

Domestic? Virgin America by far. It's not even a competition though I haven't flown Jet Blue and I do hear good things about them as well. But at least compared to the big companies like Delta, American, United, Southwest, etc... Virgin's product blows them out of the water.

Not to mention the days of the $1000 - $2000 transmission rebuild are all but gone and that translates to a higher cost of ownership down the road. Most companies don't rebuild these transmissions; they just replace them.

They weren't. They did what everyone else has and assumed they could slap their label on something half assed and because it looks cool and says BMW on it people will buy it in droves.

Actually it's even better now. 20 minutes gives you a 50% charge (down from 30 minutes).

I didn't see anything in your post to suggest that you were disagreeing with me. :-)

It is very much geographical as you would suggest. By the numbers the Tesla Model S is not a very popular car yet I see probably 5 - 10 a day in LA. Back in Chicago I'd see one a week, maybe.

Do you realize how little residential areas are policed simply because the "return on investment" isn't great? People know that the the cop is going to sit on the main thoroughfare where there are hundreds of cars passing through versus sitting on the side street where one car might come through a minute. And

Do you understand how tax deductions work? Let's say he's in the highest bracket, you're saying that he donates $100 so he can take a $40 deduction on his taxes... It's a common argument about big corporations from people that have absolutely no understanding of the tax system. Nobody would spend $100 to get $40

The two cars are just so completely different. The W Body is a torque monster from the factory. For it's time it was an amazing car, many of which were capable of low 14 second 1/4 mile passes right from the factory. The W body's downfall is a GM interior and the fact that no matter what you do to the suspension

It's amazing to look at the contrast between Fisker and Tesla. On one hand you have a company that realized that in order to convince people to buy their product they were going to have to create a compelling vehicle that made no compromises and is in many ways better than an internal combustion equivalent. On the

Maybe I missed the joke but it's clearly a 2011+ XJ.

Yeah it was definitely a currentl model. They've been out for long enough without stories of them burning that I imagine it's just a fluke but yeah, never good when something like this happens and it's celebrity owned.

I totally saw this... I was in traffic (typical) and saw a car fully engulfed. Being a typical LA driver I multitasked and Facetimed video of it to my brother in Chicago because the car was burning VERY well. In fact, much of the metal bits looked to have melted which now makes sense as the XJ8 has a lot of Aluminum

When you're building your car there's a running price on the right side of the screen that changes as you add or delete features. Next to that price is a little Apple IOS style switch that says "cash" or "finance". Click it and you'll get the cash price.
