Haha, I had a red Elite 125 when I was in college. When I first saw it in the dealership I knew I had to have it, the pop-up headlight and digital dash were OMG so killer! My girlfriend got one too. We got lots of looks, thumbs up and attention. They were a very cool way to get around!

Mini actually stopped being so-mini and morphed into small fwd BMW’s! Earlier generations were more true to the Mini-spirit and IMO more engaging.

It’s quite shocking to see a new 911 next to an old air-cooled 911, or even a 997.  It’s grown in every dimension and that’s generally a bad thing.  But that doesn’t change the fact that there are a LOT of new 911's racing on racetracks...it’s still got the cred IMO.
