@wu-stix: You don't even need to send it in to fix it. You just need a few specific tools and the know-how. Sending it in can be pretty expensive, but doing it yourself can cost as little as $5 if you already have the tools.

@Dragonis: It depends on the tournament. They wouldn't make a tournament controller that could never be used at any tournaments. It's also why the controller doesn't have macro abilities - tweaking your sensitivity and changing button layouts is one thing, but pushing one button and performing combos would definitely…
@phoghat: My thoughts exactly. Perfectly wasted (though, again, not in the St. Patty's Day way) prank.
@Pessimippopotamus: They bounce off the moon for an easier landing.
I really don't need a new controller, since I have 4 already, and I'm definitely not good enough for the Tournament level play that might require this, yet I can't help wanting one. It's just so nifty. Who doesn't love extra buttons?
I don't even drink and I want one.
On the one hand, fixing the RRoD isn't that hard, so this is kind of a waste. On the other hand, that was fucking awesome!
I'm so happy Tronsformers (11) made it. That was probably my favorite when I was looking through the submissions.
There is a lot of content in the game that makes references to things that could become future DLC. I know a lot of people bitch about planned DLC and how "it should have been in the game already" but really, there comes a point where they have to finish the game and ship it. I don't mind if they litter the game with…
A "hello world" application is basically the first thing anyone ever does upon hacking a new system. It's called proof of concept. Something small and easy, just to show it can be done.
@Felipe058: I know how it works, I did play other Bethesda games. But even if you played a High Elf with everything focused on Magic, you still started what, maybe 15 or 20 points ahead? Not very much. With the new leveling system directly tied to how much you increase skills, it sounds like it would be lowering your…
Damn it, my GI isn't here yet. I swear, I always get it later than everyone else.
@Felipe058: I don't see what a class name has to do with your character history. If you want to roleplay, they aren't stopping you. Play a character that is a pure mage, lover of mystical arts, and then just only use magical abilities.
@TheSonicGamerFL: You could use magic if you didn't like the lockpicking minigame. Sadly, there was an oversight in that the only unlock spells you could get were Target, not Touch, which made anything underwater impossible to open without a lockpick or a key.
@Helis: Yeah, I never understood that one. It's basically like this.
@UERD: "Fly United! We have flotation devices in the seats!"
I don't mind pre-order bonuses, but I'm with this guy when it comes to different bonuses at different stores. I'm not a fucking millionaire; I can't buy four copies of every game just to get 100% completion. Is it a huge game breaking deal? Almost never, but it is highly irritating, and I really wish stores would…
@DreamDevice: That is not even remotely close to what chaos theory is.
@FyreFlyeRush: Just because they ask you to pay doesn't automatically make them scams. Sure, they are clearly designed to make paying one optimal way of playing, which is the primary reason I avoid them, but that doesn't mean someone with nothing better to do can't play them anyway.
CIvilization should be Civilization. Very first sentence.
