Wanting to get your money’s worth, or getting your time’s worth... neither is wishful thinking. Every dollar or hour wasted on a game means a dollar or hour that wasn’t enjoyed somewhere else.

It will go away when it stops being such a profitable approach on mobile and free to play games (read: never). It’s part of the continued melding of mobile tactics into fully priced console/pc games.
I... dunno if that’s going to be the case. Destiny, TheDivision, WarFrame franchises seem to have reliable player bases. All 3 are very grindy. We could all debate whether the experiences are incomplete and predatory, but the net result of “pay money for regular content updates” is not going away.
That’s what I hear and I love puzzling in all forms, and this one sounds so novel and expansive that I know I'm going to fall right into it, but just too many other distractions right now. But definitely soon. Right after I commit to Obra Dinn.
Man, I’m busy.
For me it’s the greatest portable of all time. My backlog for it (between 3DS and DS games) is so large that it won’t be leaving my side for a long long time. I also hope we get another dual screen system at some point from Nintendo. That functionality (in the form of bottom screen menus and implications on gameplay)…
Blue Rogues, attack! I’m finally returning to my playthrough of my favorite game of all time, the Sega Dreamcast classic ‘Skies of Arcadia.’ I’m streaming it now on our Twitch channel! Come join chat for adventure, excitement, and good times!
Judging by the GIF, this is a movie version of Dragon Quest V (at least Part I of it). The blue turban and the tiger character suggest as much.
I already own all this stuff.
This kinda bums be out. I always imagined him bounding though the offices making everyone’s day brighter, telling people how great everything is while providing “why didn’t I think of that?” suggestions to an appreciative employee base, but he’s actually a reclusive and frightening troll who only talks to you when…
Yeah, it’s a shame Nintendo hasn’t put out any games in such a long time.
That’s a yikes. If you believe all that stuff you just said, you’re terribly misinformed. It’s not up to Reggie how to design Samus, or write her story. Reggie is also not singlehandedly responsible for clearing or dismissing a new game idea. He doesn’t come up with all the game ideas and go around telling the…
Tensions are simmering.
I think it was that throw to Gronk down the sideline where he noted, “If the safety steps up, he’s going to Gronk one-on-one.” I immediately was staring at that safety, saw him step up, and I was like, “Here it comes.”
Tee Lopes would be great, but I would also accept Jake Kaufman.
To my untrained eye, this reminds me a little bit of Hammerin’ Hero on PSP, which was a fantastic and under-appreciated game
It’s most likely the music licensing, as it has been emulated on the 360, but it gets left out of these collections all the way back to old PC genesis game collections.
Sonic 3 & Knuckles are available on the PC version of this collection. I suspect they’re just holding out so they can charge a premium when they release a Sega Ages version instead.
There’s a reason for no Sonic 3. I forget if it’s a licensing deal because of the music or if there’s some batch of code that is making modern emulation troublesome, but it’s one of those reasons.
This collection is really solid on the other platforms, and I’m definitely picking it up on Switch.
