As someone who bought King of Kong the second it was available, this is heartbreaking. I loved that story and narrative, so am trying to not let that experience be sullied.

It really is. It’s convenient, portable, looks and sounds great (the small screen makes the graphics shine). It can be played in bed, upside down on the couch, etc. etc.

I was going to but this too. Then I pulled out my Snes and My old Ds and just started games on both of those versions.

That’s totally a price I could get behind for what I’ve heard about this game. Hell at that price I could order two and ship one to a buddy.

This game is the greatest. Getting to play as Peach was incredibly exciting to me as a young girl.

I don’t know. I think people do want an arcade Nintendo game that is the father of a beloved franchise that has never been released on any platform ever.

Also Mario is associated with the colour red so it makes sense to choose a different one. Or at least, that’s what I figured the reason was.

Holy moly I had one of these as a kid. I loved it, great for marathon gaming sessions since the hard plastic rectangle of the OG NES controllers would hurt your hands after a while.

At this point, I don’t think I’m going to touch this game until at least a year after the final content update just to make sure Square has finished it before I start.

There’s an EBGames in the mall near where I am that is massive. They split the store into two halves. Regular video game EB. ANd then the other half is now labelled as EBToys or something. These people have always been there lurking in the shadows. Trump and his assent and perceived legitimacy has simply make them feel safe enough to step out into the light.
