I don’t think you’re remembering correctly at all. Rocket never does anything other than hostile takeovers, their goal is pretty much making money and seizing power.

But that’s an impossibility as anything can be and has to be cracked, look at the FBI vs iPhone. I get the feeling that this could be related to the Switch. Rumors are saying it’s an Android-based system, but they could be developing something quite similar to the 3DS OS.

On one hand, there are certain logistic issues with this- Pokémon of unusual size (*cough*Wailord*cough*) have to be scaled in order to reasonably follow the player, many water Pokémon just have to float through the air (which they also do in battle, but it seems more jarring on the world map), no one really cares…

Yeah they were way late adding this stuff. I actually sorta got back into the game a few weeks ago, so this update is just a boost. I love that they finally added the ability to move furniture around with the touchscreen, that change was long overdue.

How many years did it take to add Gamecube-ish quests back into the game? Three years?

Right? I used to think this sort of thing was a waste of time but these people obviously have a great passion for reverse engineering the game and the videos are very enjoyable. I wonder if any game that came out within the last few years will ever get this sort of treatment.
