Miyamoto had confidence in Itoi, but he didn’t think Itoi wouldn’t have enough time to devote to make the project good. Also, I think I read somewhere that Miyamoto was so engrossed in Mother 1 that he restarted the game after losing his save 75% of the way thru the game.

Fine. Earthbound and Mother 3 are incredible games by a wonderfully talented writer. He’s accomplished everything he’s wanted to in the series and we should all appreciate that.

Indeed. I think Nintendo/Sakurai would have difficulty trying to get Konami to cooperate when it comes to the MGS series altogether.

not too many people picking it up at the store i was in, me and 3-4 others, while Fallout4 had a line up going out the door as i left...i think Fallout will hurt thier numbers a bit..im not feeling the game, me and some buds played it first day...havnt played since...just went back to playing fallout...i kind of…

I was very disappointed with the Beta, especially the flight controls and confusing shooting mechanics (i.e. I’ll shoot a guy with a full clip and he’ll turn and run away, while I die after three shots).

Still, it looks great and I love Star Wars. I’ll wait for the Game of the Year edition like I’m doing for Arkham…

Sales numbers will probably be in the millions, it’s Star Wars after all.
The real question is what will the player count be two weeks after release.

DICE really does have amazing tech. And have for quite some time now.

I agree, it has Star Wars nostalgic magic going on, but it’s really designed poorly in other aspects. I would really love some type of singleplayer RPG or action game using DICE’s amazing tech.

I don’t know if they can beat anyone at this point.

I’m also a Packers fan and there is something wrong with the entire team. Rodgers is off and when he does make a nice throw, the receivers drop it. The receivers can’t get open. The O-line can’t block. The defense has no pass rush which leads to the secondary getting torched. Special teams are not good as usual.

Raised Baptist, Pagan in adulthood, I went to my first Catholic wedding a couple of years ago, and they had a full mass. So I’m there with my pentacle and getting some of the funniest looks and totally lost about what I’m supposed to do. BUT, people were surprisingly polite, and I was treated pretty comfortably.
