Don’t be afraid to delve into Indies if ports aren’t for you. I was never much into them until the Switch arrived. eShop has a ridiculous amount of gems, and they’re getting great exposure on the platform.

Keep in mind this isn’t a full-priced title either. Hell, I’m sure die-hards wouldn’t mind paying $60 as long as they know new Megaman is happening (myself included).
Totally respect the translation issue. I noticed that seems to be the biggest divisive factor for people to choose which one they like best.
Gunpei Yokoi apparently wanted the VB to display color before it was rushed out the door. Could you imagine the possibilities of re-tooling these in color for 3DS? I’d buy the system (again) for Warioland VB alone.
I was around for all of it. I think from a pure level-design perspective, the newer DKC’s knock it out of the park. I think DKC2 and DCKTF run a dichotomy between fine-tuning their respective prequels.
I think you may need to settle this with a community poll on the best DKC.
Im having a hard time choosing between OG DS because of GBA support, or 3DS with DS support.
I’d love to see the sales data for Bayo and Pokken Tournament. Titles like those don’t often have the mass-appeal of MK8. I imagine Hyrule Warriors and DKCTF will do fairly well.
MK8 Deluxe makes a solid argument for more WiiU-to-Switch ports.
Good ol’ 50-cal concussive rounds.
They’re just setting the stage for King of Kong 2.
It had all of the added video content (and I think some minor translation changes) from the FF Chronicles version.
DS is easily the best to date!
Picked it up for $13 new on Amazon, and genuinely not disappointed with it at that price. Lord knows this game won’t ‘survive’ long enough to become more interesting. ba-dum-tssssss
I haven’t even watched the whole video yet, and I love this topic.
Heck, if they work together, that’s even better!
Last year’s version was a terrific spin on the old formula. Both brutal and quick (games might only take 30mins when you know what you’re doing), so the traditional ‘monopoly stuff’ even felt fresh.
Based on the description, they are their own (and therefore not compatable). Powers work differently too.
I think Nintendo was rocking the red logo when Mario became a thing, so maybe similar idea?
