Burgers or burritos?
Burgers or burritos?
If I remember correctly, the German comics also established Mario is 27 years old, and he and Wario (and Luigi) were related.
Glad you said this. People tend to forget that Gamecube used to be Nintendo’s worst selling console until the WiiU. Nintendo is always the oranges to Sony/MS’s apples.
If you haven’t heard or seen, Mario Adventure and Super Mario Bros. 3-mix are some of the most impressive takes on the SMB3 formula.
That’s where the balance of online/offline makes a big difference. No matter how you slice it, after a server is shut down, you’re stuck with an incomplete game.
Knowing Disney, they’ve got an iron-clad defense against something like that. I totally agree though. Couldn’t even patch for an offline version?
I can’t even read articles about this without getting a lump in my throat.
It was a whole octave lower I think. That chipper “Segaaaa” sounded less enthusiastic.
Thank you for making this known. That thing suuuuuuuuuucks. Got one on clearance and still wasn’t worth it.
Are you optimistic about Nintendo’s future?
Sorely underrated title. I remember the development hell 12 went through, and amazed at the final product. Vaan is forgettable, but Balthier and Fran more than made up for other charater’s meh-ness.
I JUST beat Startropics finally for the first time. Good lord that game is unfair in parts. Fun as hell (and I feel accomplished) at least. On to Zoda’s Revenge...
I look at Sandusky, and all I think is he can play a young Mel Brooks.
It doesn’t matter which you start with, as they are separate stories. I will admit Mother 1 is a bit of a slog and has a ridiculous difficulty spike at the end. That was the old school RPG mindset at the time tho...
This is dumb. People are dumb.
“dawn of the final day”...
Exactly. I remember that sort of questionable optimism when Splatoon was first revealed.
I think your assessment that the fact this is a new IP from Nintendo is more than fair. I don’t think they would take the chance on something new if they didn’t think there was a future for it (or that they haven’t already done in another IP).
I know the game was never released in Japan (initially), so I’m betting the limited release has something to do with it (ala Captain Rainbow, but reverse). Gameplay similarity to Zelda probably doesn’t help distinguish things very well either. They should just change the graphics and name it Jump YoYo Zelda. Then more…
Wait until NX. I think it was too late to introduce dedicated accounts to Wiiu and 3ds, but if NX is the hybrid we are assuming it is (and with their mobile initiative) they have no reason not to. Unless they like alienating us or still think it’s 1998.
