Thankfully, there have been some ways to “break the lock” so-to-speak without wrecking your system (and without a flash cart, etc.). Usually Nintendo patches the exploit before someone finds a way in again.

And here I just told myself I wouldn’t be importing anything in 2016...

I guess I do need to give it a little credit, as its scope is pretty tremendous, and open-world games usually have their fair share of initial hiccups. I only played a couple of hours before deciding I’d wait until it was patched a little further (and Fallout 4 is taking complete priority).

We’re rooting for you!

Now playing

I know that the Genesis was scaled back from their arcade architecture outside of the actual processor speed (the one big advantage Genesis had over SNES), so I don’t think rotating and scaling was as easily doable. I know someone recently got a version of F-Zero running on Genesis hardware (though I think it was

dat mode-7 tho

This game is legitimately my greatest fear realized. Just had a friend lose their 3-year old this week. I need to hug my daughter now.

I want to agree, but a lot of JC3 is plain busted. Fun game, but needed more time in the oven.

If you didn’t already, I recommend shelling out for some of the DLC. You can replay it endlessly and have an absurdly powerful team by the end of the game (and get more $, etc). It might actually speed up your ability to get through later levels more easily and without as much risk of losing any characters.

I’ve played 5 FE games before Awakening, and if one thing stands out to the series, its gameplay over all else. Oftentimes the story is forgettable, but the nice thing about Awakening is how it becomes something of a choose-you-own-adventure when it comes to childbearing as both a (small) story, but huge gameplay

Initial word is... not really, but the gameplay styles between the two are the draw here (traditional vs. conditional). The “3rd” version may make up for it story-wise.

Maybe he’ll have to now, depending on the physical damage he sustained. Vader’s wounds were more or less the catalyst for his full-on transformation, so maybe Kylo’s will be similar. Can’t help but feel Kylo’s wounds besides his facial scar and bowcaster wound were somewhat intentionally vague.

Did anyone ever say why Dogmeat isn’t defined as a companion? Legitimately curious. It does make that perk more appealing, but he’s a companion by all accounts.

But they can hold sooooo much loot for you. At least, that’s what I use them for...

I had one Art just about to shoot the other execution-style when the kneeling Art asked me for help. That opened up dialogue for me the one and only time I ran into them. I chose poorly.

Not sure when it ends (I think Sunday), but Gamestop still has SW Battlefront for $40 (Regular) and $50 (Deluxe), with the season pass at only $30 if bought with the game, so you could get everything the game has/will have to offer as low as $70.

I can’t help but think 2015 has been THE year for the system. I’ve never sold more (as I work gaming retail), and a lot of folks in my larger gaming circles are finally making the jump (admittedly too late, but its something).

Its kind-of a strange inverse between MS and Sony from last-gen to current. As long as each company tries their best to make their respective boxes better than the other, we all win.

heh, The Dark Tight heh. Ok, I’ll leave.

Bestbuy also has the Playstation Now bundles (Dualshock 4, charge cable, and 1 month PS+) for only $40.
