Exactly. I think Mortal Kombat might have been the first with simultaneous release if I’m not mistaken (and having the same content besides blood of course).

Dat Super Mario Maker tho
I think people are forgetting that Nintendo preceded their showing by stating no NX or mobile initiative stuff, and their focus was on the immediate future. With that in mind, their showing wasn’t terrible, it just didn’t get folks excited beyond Q1 2016. All I know is, Super Mario Maker might be my game of show.
Just finished it as I saw your response. Now I’m looking forward to the movie.
I’m on the last chapter of CW. Love this book.
Heist was basically a skimmed down version of TiT (heh), and it came after TiT too (heh).
Please do. I’m stuck with my stupid Batman edition tomorrow.
It’s on the 3DS Virtual Console as well.
Not necessarily. Gameplay is pretty much all Prime, they just put a Chibi coat of paint on it (not that I’m defending the style at all).
There is such sad truth to that. And I love LBP...
To be fair, Reggie did make the disclaimer that what was to be shown encompassed only the near future into early 2016. I think they went in knowing it wasn’t going to be their biggest and best.
No argument here. Why wouldn’t you want the best possible experience for the same game, graphically or otherwise?
At least most of those Rare games haven’t been re-released for the better part of a decade or more (save for Banjo-Kazooie), so it would make some sense to bring them back to the mainstream a little. I am starting to loathe re-releases these days however.
Yeah both MS and Sony need to establish what makes their machine better over the other game-wise. Haven’t turned on my X1 in almost two months, and I usually sway PS4 on multiplatform games due to better resolution.
Oh I absolutely am glad it was pushed back. As Miyamoto said “A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever”. I will say it looked pretty dang polished for what little we have seen.
Rumors were swirling about a holiday release for Starfox. I wonder if they’re going to do to Zelda like they did with Twilight Princess. The game is being developed with the gamepad in mind (at least for what they’ve shown).
With the delay of Zelda, I’m hoping they bring out the big guns with Starfox and Metroid. I’d also love to see them back another new IP like they did with Splatoon, provided the creative merit is there. I just want to see some gosh-darn Nintendo magic.
I kinda had low-hopes for the series until I saw this. Can’t wait to get back into it.
This made me weirdly emotional. They’re not tears, it’s man-water.
Weird, I named my kid Zap Rousdauer because of MST3K. Nah just kidding, but when I do have a son one day...
