In a sense, although they of course set out to do different things. Figure the power of the Vita and PS4 working together could have lead to some interesting projects for sure.

Still wonder what Popopo would've looked like had they not used the placeholder graphics for Kirby. In any case, awesome studio.

I'm rocking the X1 and WiiU combo right now. I think its good to have both (whether its PS4 or X1 and WiiU). Nintendo makes Nintendo for Nintendo anyway, so it won't sway everyone. Pretty much most 1st party stuff they release is still absolute gold, and I never have more fun with 3-4 other people on my couch with any

Better late than never! It's just weird that Sony took enough of the handheld market with the PSP (and how it was advertised/portrayed) last-gen, that they never gave the Vita the same level of attention in the US for what it could have been. It had a pretty solid launch from my recollection, and even the newer

If they really wanted to make the Vita an essential part of PS4, they should have bundled them together already. Imagine the impact of a $500 combo during the holiday season. Better exposure could appeal to more development and advertisement, specifically on the Vita end. I love the system, but it feels like Sony just

Vita has one of the best libraries that no one knows about I feel. Yes they should make another console, and no they shouldn't focus on how it connects to their consoles, but what it offers uniquely. Just wish Sony advertised the Vita the same way they did the PSP. Feels like they're leaving American markets to their

You're reading too much into this dude/dudette. All I wanted to read was Evan's perspective on Japanese portrayal. Simple as that.

That's what I'm trying to say, in a sense. Not saying that portrayals are the same among all Japanese, but there seems to be a clear, almost obligitory idea of how to use Black characters.

Nice perspective and a good read Evan. I'm curious to your thoughts specifically about Japanese portrayal of Black people in gaming. I can think of a handful of cringeworthy examples of utilizing flamboyant Black characters for comic relief.

Yeah shit is crazy here is Wisconsin. Primarily democratic state with the most Conservative Governor we've ever seen. Unions and right-to-work have lead to constant shit throwing. Tough calls to make when both sides have valid points, and you feel stuck trying to side with the lesser of two evils.

Really also depends on what the union represents. They definitely work better for more skilled-labor than professional service jobs. My union pisses me off because a solid portion of my annunal raise goes towards paying their increasing union dues...

Yeah folks are crying bloody murder towards NoA. Not sure how much influence Reggie actually has here outside of being (what I interpret) as more of a figurehead. I feel like its an ongoing issue outside of the Amiibo and recent N3DS launch though. I work at GameStop very part time (don't judge, I get a discount and

For as out-of-touch and questionable Nintendo has become the last couple of years, they've never been more relevant.

One would hope, but besides Mewtwo, Nintendo isn't going to balance/patch the game any further (they said).

Arno is like a shitter, less likable version of Ezio (still the best assassin IMO) anyway. Ubisoft practically came out and said the game was more or less a test of their new game engine. I'd say it's worth it at $20 or less.

I beat it just after the first major patch. I'm temped to go back, and I had used the initiates and mobile app religously until all of my progress mysteriously disappeared. I'm curious to see how much "better" the game is. I will tell you, without spoilers, this is one of the lamest games in the series story-wise.

that's awesome! Good luck with other tough to find ones.

Good to know. Best cartoon I've ever played.

I felt a little off-put by that notion. Then I thought about the storyline, and there is little more they could do. Any word on if Insomniac will be making it?

Come'ere Lucky...
