I guess Nintendo also pressured him to release the VB before he felt it was ready. As far as I know, he wanted to implement color and added horsepower. I always appreciated his way of development in regard to "lateral thinking of existing technology". Using what exists and finding new purpose for it. Funny thing is, a

I want a reason outside of Smash Bros to use my Fox Amiibo soooooooo badly.

I'm super surprised it didn't. I imagined the games themselves were printed well before CN was being shut down. I'll just have to scour the used game section of gamestop for codes like I usually do (which the manager is ok with mind you). haha

Only way digital copies will sway me is if they're cheaper upon release, and Nintendo gets dedicated accounts. It was kind of sad to not see a club nintendo code in there either.

It is sad for certain. When I sold my collection a few years back, I sold a box of manuals/boxes/inserts and made a pretty penny off of them. I remember pulling out the manual for pokemon blue (which was gigantic for a gameboy manual), and read it cover to cover for the last time. Also learned how Birdo was a cross

I always just thought the dialogue itself was off. I know it was meant to speak to his character, but I figure it might have been more creepy if he alluded to it without actually saying it.

Can't wait for the sequel about their son. Dolphin Lover 2: Flipper Brenner Diaries

"You ever been Raped?" is still one of the weirdest quotes in the show.

I was going to edit my original post after reading it aloud and thought, meh. haha

thats pretty awesome.

my god he'd probably develop priapism and have an aneurysm....

I was really thinking that the launch of the New 3DS and the closure of Club Nintendo might indicate we would be getting dedicated accounts. I think until then, they're just going to keep re-releasing VC titles per system (which is awful).

I'd hate to see this guy on the toilet...

Nintendo just needs to get some damn dedicated accounts and blast their VC with more awesome old stuff like Sony has.

Just a shame Nintendo wanted it out the door so quickly. I guess Gunpei Yokoi wasn't finished designing the system specs (I guess he wanted to add color and some more power) and was strongarmed to release what he had. I think the games are pretty damn good (especially warioland and red alarm).

Maybe it was the resolution of the screens then. I know when I played Warioland, it looked slightly better than the Warioland games on Gameboy. That's pretty rad you had that on C64!

Step 4: profit

And really there's no reason it shouldn't work. Warioland was a hell of a gem...

I always thought the VB was 8-bit, but they did a hell of a job making it look like SNES/Genesis quality.....

I was on the fence about this one until I saw the price tag. Love that Nintendo is going to the $40 and $50 price ranges.
